Top Shelf Featuring Avion Reserva 44

One of our favorites on the top shelf here at Vanessa’s Bistro 2 is Avion Reserva 44 Extra Anejo Tequila.  It is an amazingly smooth sipping tequila aged 44 months.  Its production is extremely limited and each bottle is signed by the founder, Ken Austin.  We think AVION 44 is the perfect tequila because its balance between sweetness and oak is spot on! The major difference that makes Avion stand out from other tequilas is that Avion roasts their agave to give the juice a special flavor, while others stream the agave. Vanessa’s Bistro 2 Absolutely has the best happy hour in Downtown Walnut Creek.  Our Absolut inspired cocktails are only 5 dollars, and our Vietnamese fusion tapas are only 6 dollars.  It is a great time to enjoy great food and drinks at unbeatable prices. Vanessa’s Bistro 2s happy hour is everyday from 3 to 6 PM and from 9 until closing.  And don’t forget about Sunday where we hold happy hour all day long. Vanessa’s Next Exclusive Dining Experience is Vietnamese American Inspired!

On the last Thursday of every month, Vanessa’s Bistro 2 holds a private dinner in which Chef Van Dang creates a menu for one night along with paired wines.  It is a great night because our guests get to experience a completely different menu and wines each month.  On April 24th, the dinner will be a five-course Vietnamese American inspired menu. The wines are currently still being chosen..
